I keep reading all these threads this week and the common theme is we don't deserve to be #1. We should be cautious about celebrating and even one that said our ranking is worthless.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Leave the mindset of the players to the coaches. As fans we have every right to be happy. We are the #1 team in the nation. Start struttin like a peacock!
You're right Wojo. The problem is that a few of our rivals want to come over here and crap on us every time we slip up. Then they run and hide when they slip up. It makes for a piss poor attitudes. I'm thrilled with this team and it's accomplishments so far. It just takes the fun out when all we hear is how we suck and the only reason we win is because of the refs.

I'm still pretty darn proud of our team even after Wednesday. I thought it would be tough game, I didn't know if we'd get out with a W and we all know Wake is legit.
Then after watching the whole thing, knowing that Wake dominated most if not all of the second half, knowing that only Singler and Hindo could find a way to score in the game and it still came down to a last second shot - I couldn't have asked for anything more. The basketball gods usually give those victories to the home team. The fact that we were this close to winning...DAMN it sucks to lose but I'm absolutely loving this team!!
