I'm hearing that the Jets have contacted BC head coach Jeff J.

Not sure how reliable it is. Supposedly it was published in one of the New York papers.

I'm not sure that's a good move for the Jets.

Boston College coach Jeff Jagodzinski has been told he will be fired if he interviews for the head coaching vacancy with the New York Jets, according to sources.

Guess Jags likes coaching in the NFL better than at the college level.

Considering the Jets' crazy history, wouldn't be surprised if they tried to resurrect Rich Kotite.

latest reports are saying BC is ready to fire him. He better hope he interviewed well.

I suspect the powers that be at Boston College wanted to get rid of Jeff anyway and were looking for the right excuse to do it. Can't prove it--just something that may have been lurking behind the scenes.

Anything that causes The Unwelcome grief is good news to me.
