Last night's win at Purdue was big. This Duke team is further along in development than I thought they would be.

When I first saw this season's schedule, I thought.... well, an early season loss on 12/2 really isn't that bad. But I never thought Duke would win by 16.
Singler, Scheyer, & Smith were, simply put, awesome. Great rebounding, and a really good team offensive effort against a really good defensive team, at home.

On the negative side; too many fouls, too many turnovers, too little point production from G (although other parts of his game looked good), and too little E. Williams (IMO).
We beat the crap out of Purdue.
What a great win. Also living in Indiana and having my Brother in Law whom went to school at Purdue years ago. It was nice to txt last night and brag and rub it in his face.
^ My wife is a Purdue grad.... there was no bragging or rubbing it in at my house, however.

Cool what year? My brother in law was the class of 1998.
Duke Pride: How much did you hold your breath and grind your teeth when Purdue pulled within 11 with 3 min. + left? I would have had to leave the room.

She finished in..... '93 or '94, I think it was '94. I was just prior to us first meeting. But her youngest brother was probably there in '98.

And Mama, I'm always nervous during a Duke game, so it wasn't anything usually at that point. I'm just really glad Duke won.
