Great trade with the Chiefs.
Panthers gave up too much for that 19.
I'm not excited by the Lions pick, however I am not suicidal.

I am glad they did not draft Otah as he is soft. Panthers screwed up there.
I love the Panther's two picks. They needed RB,OL,DE and S help and got two quality players at "crucial needs" positions. They can still get defensive help in the 3rd round and through free agency. I hope Otah is worth the picks. It will be fun to watch if they get back their power running game.
I really hope that the Lions drafted the next Chris Speilman and not the next Teddy Lemen.

I look for them to take either PSU's Conner or a Rb around 10:30a today.
Detroit did take a RB and an interesting one at that. Hard to tell how Smith will translate into the pros, but could be a nice catch.
