Looks like UNC and Duke might be #3 & #4 next week. Neither deserves that high of a ranking.

Why do you say that? I can see the argument for UNC but Duke is completely deserving of a #3 or #4 ranking, IMO. The only teams that I would put ahead of them are Memphis and Kansas. Duke's only loss was to a very good (at the time) Pitt team and that game went down to the wire. I just don't see how you can say Duke is undeserving of such a ranking?

Actually, eequals' statement is practically the only thing I've evAr agreed with him on.
Duke has problems with too many turnovers, too many scoring droughts, and is too limited in the post to be honestly considered a top 5 team.
Duke is good, Carowhina has more pieces of the puzzle to work with this year, but neither is truly a top 5 team at this point in the season.

I respectfully disagree (about Duke). They have played their share of ranked opponents and come up with wins in all with the exception of the Pitt game (and even that one went down to the wire). Sure they have post issues but they make up for that weakness in other areas. I feel they have played at a level characteristic of a top five team.

Yeah, with the holes losing to an unranked maryland team they should have fallen to 6th or 7th. Duke deserves the #3 at this point. We lost on the road to a ranked opponent by 1 point. Heck, why aren't we #1?
Because there are two undefeated teams ahead of us?
Duke may or may not be a top 5 team but they have looked the part so far this season. They are 3-1 against current top 25 teams and i don't think many other teams have played that many top 25 teams with only 1 loss.
Duke definitely deserves their ranking so far.

as pride mentioned on our board, I think UNC has upside on their D - not sure how much upside Duke has on their O
either way we should be 1-2 in the ACC, as it should be.
