I'm hearing & seeing a lot of negative press directed his way this morning.
I for one don't think he threw a punch at Paulus, or at least I didn't see it as such last night during the game or replays.

I think Reid's hand was open, not a fist. He went into the "fray" after the play was whistled stop by the refs... which wasn't smart, but I didn't really see him throw a punch.

Opinions?

According to our friends on the board, it was Paulus' fault.

It was a scrum on the floor, but I didn't see anything that looked like a punch. The ref T'ed them both up, and we got the ball.

The reason Paulus started kicking is he got smacked in the face by another FSU player who was grabbing at the ball and missed....its reactionary...we all would do it......I think Reid wanted to get in the middle of it b/c Paulus took the ball from him and caught him with his hand when he slapped the ball out on the rebound.....I dont think he threw a punch....but the look of it makes you think he did....oh well, its over and K and Hamilton didnt seem to take issue with it post game.....

Oh it looked like he threw a punch to me, he may have been going after the ball but it really appeared to me that he cocked his arm back in the same motion when throwing a punch. It didn't land so i guess the ACC decides no harm no suspension.
