Tribe pitcher allegedly bought HGH and then came out publicly against the use of same.
The key word is allegedly but still for this to come out at this particular time. The Indians can only be thankful he is not slated to start. I hope it is not true. But if it is he IMHO is worse than those that merely cheated. He would be a hypocrite and a cheat.
Well, it adds another dimension to the game.

Sort of like Brittany Spear's choice to eschew lingerie adds to the entertainment field.
Byrd is looking worse and worse. He would have had a helluva time staying focused if the Tribe had qualified for the World Series. He is claiming a pituitary problem but now it turns out his prescription was written by a shady dentist or something.
He came out with all this just to promote his new book, no?
I knew he has a book coming out but I don't think this is the media blitz he had in mind.
The timing of the report is a eyebrow raising. The question not answered is did Mitchell leak it or authorize the release? What role if any did the rest of the commission play? But the allegation that Byrd obtained HGH and syringes under suspicious circumstances is still there.
