Is someone charging $5/month for this? I did not know that.

I'm not paying extra for it, that's for sure (I have DirecTV).

I have dish network. NFL network is in my America top 250. Who is charging you 5.00 a month? I never heard of that.

I'm curious because I know that satellites (DTV & Dish) carrie NFLN as part of their standard programming, but the NFL had been fighting with certain cable companies (TW for one) who wanted to charge extra to put NFLN in an extras package and charge for it. The NFL had been refusing to let this happen.

Yes, it used to be part of my package with Comcast, but starting this summer they took it away and made it part of their "sports" package. So I do get about five or six other channels in addition to NFL network for my 5$.
Yes, I'm annoyed I have to pay extra, but still. 5$ isn't so bad.

I agree its worth $5. I just didn't think the NFL was allowing broadcasters to charge for it. First I had heard of this. There musta been a change in policy or a settlement of some kind.
