I have mixed feeling about this. On one hand, it looks like the kid really screwed up, and should be dismissed from the university. On the other hand (particularly in light of the lax case), he should be presumed innocent until proven guilty - and if he is guilty, he should be dismissed from the university. But I'm still not sure he should be allowed to play before his court date.

Reasonable turn of events...
however, I think the kid needs some help and he may best be served by getting that help at Duke.

My first reaction was disappointment that he was reinstated, but my second thought went back to the lacrosse fiasco and maybe there is more to the story that we know.
I don't know.... but if the charges hold true, then he does need help but that help shouldn't include letting him play for Duke, IMO.

if we're going to go 0 for the season every year, we should at least do it with class.
