Don't know if you guys remember but i had my boat and my gear stolen a couple years back. Now one of my friends had his fishing rods (along with a power drill) stolen right off his front porch. One day we figured we will see somebody fishing out of my boat with his rods and then it will be us going to jail.

Nothing wrong with "frontier justice". Just make sure there aren't any witnesses or survivors
It amazes me the nerve some people have when it comes to theft. They just broke up a ring down here that was stealing from construction sites. The spread they laid out at the news conference looked like more tools than your average Lowes carries.
Some ass stole the battery out of my boat last month. I store it at a yard with little security but still, they went under the boat cover, took the battery and replaced the cover. No fun getting to the ramp that day and finding no battery.
Well my buddy got hit again. He borrowed a couple of rods and reels from his brother and they got stolen along with some Michael Jordan collectors plates, his big Plano tackle box, a couple of comemorative college football helments and two guns. Called the cops, they dusted for prints, etc... Lock your stuff up folks
well, at least we know they took the guns to shoot the plates with.
