For the new board, a new thread to let everyone know where you stand.
Also, to see who made here and who is still lost in the other dimension.
I'll start:

and

1961-2004 Houston Colt 45's/Lastros
1985-2003 Baltimore O's
2004--?  Washington Nationals
Until the Nats contend, I will continue to revert to the Astros once the Nats are eliminated.
In my youth, I watched Dizzy and PeeWee; that at one time manifest itself in an affliction that shall not be discussed here.
I also once liked the RedSox, but living in Boston cured me of that.
Minor leagues--pull for the Keys and Baysox, even though I no longer care for the big club.
College ball--my alma mater and, if they ever put enough on the field to warrant attention, the Terps.
-------
sitting in downtown DC, I'm in no state save confusion
still a stupid O's fan. May the divine forces of the World help me.
NL- Giants but interest has waned a bit since the Bonds circus has gone into overdrive. some affability for the Tigers, Mariners, Royals and Injuns.
i think it's very well known for whom Hate is only a meager beginning.
The Cleveland Indians
I have a soft spot for the Orioles and a bit of a soft spot for the twinkies. There is no national league team that breaks a bottle of bubbly over my bow, or aft or whatever.
I like both UNC and NC State--how well I know that makes me unusual--but I'm being honest is all. Honestly though, other than college basketball it's practically fair to say that I could give a crap.
I also feel a strong allegiance to the rockers of the 60's and 70's as I feel I may well have lived their life, just didn't have their money to throw around.
I'm also becoming increasingly fond of antacids, generic and specific.
Is it wrong to wish injury on one of your team's
players? I'm just looking for a DL stint, is all.
I am not much of a Royals fan, but I used to really enjoy going to games at Kauffmann.
AL:Â Â
NL:Â Â
College baseball:Â Â my alma mater, of course
grew up a Braves fan, I remember the teepee in the outfield and ole' Chief Nocahoma.
In the AL, I seem to find myself watching the Rangers more often than the others.
Bravos fan since I knew what baseball was. Whos cares about the AL.

Whiz on everyone else, but especially the vaGiants, the yankmees, and the braves.
Yankees fan from as young as I could understand baseball through the days of Andy Hawkins losing a no-hitter due to Leyritz In The Outfield, Oscar Azocar and his never-resting bat, and Tim Leary's digestible sandpaper.
NL: Pull for the Brewers over anyone else from my days living in Milwaukee before I ran screaming from the city.
(edit: apparently my icon has disappeared...hrrrrumph...)

...and even this guy who lost 15 or 16 in a row in '79, and is getting current TV face time because of his "Real" former-Playmate "Housewife" on Bravo...

one of those needs a moustache
I'm not quite sure he can grow one yet.

true. he'll have to wear a groucho model.
I've decided on washington. They're as close to my home as atlanta, and really, does the world need another braves fan? I'm hoping this will be a character-building experience.
Braves and Marlins
I grew up Braves, but have been Marlins ever since I moved down here to South Florida 4 years ago.

and whoever is playing the yankees
Mets and Indians
Favorite player all-time: Eddie Murray
Favorite current player: Jim Thome and David Wright.
Wow, another Tribe fan. Way to go AllBiz. Get rid of your Jim Thomedamoney adulation however.
Sadly, it looks like my Tribe's gonna have to jettison a few home games, what with the whole lost Mariner series, then playing Anaheim in Milwaukee. Selig is a slimeball.
