Color me surprised, but I guess the chances of him getting pushed to the 2nd round by the huge amount of underclassmen declaring might have made him look upon the draft a little differently.
I would have been happy for him no matter his decision, but I'm glad for Duke basketball that he decided to stay.

I'm thinking the ridiculous amount of underclassmen declaring this year must have weighed heavily in his decision. Also, I've got to think he has a solid chance to have his jersey hanging in Cameron.

Sounds good to me! Kids are leaving earlier and earlier for the NBA. I still have a high regard for the college diploma. Call me old fashion.

Does he have to be a National POY to get his jersey hung?

Don't think so. Bobby Hurley was never POY.

Huh.....wonder what he needs to get his jersey up there.

Well for one he will at least have to be the best player on his own team next season and that won't be a given.

One requirement that has been in place for several years is for the player to have been recongized for an achievement outside of Duke University; as in national player of the year, or some other award.

An NC doesn't hurt either.
Given that, will Scheyer or Smith be up there?

I was hoping Singler would be staying. I need a stable platform for support on my windmill dunks

I really hope you guys get back to competing for the ACC. It will be like old times again. Hopefully, Sidney will finally exorcise the V curse that has hung on your program forever it seems. I hear Lee Fowler is parting ways. How do you feel about that?

CJ is a mirror man. Lord help Sid.
