He's been a totally different player during the last half of his senior year. He's big, tough, and sets a mean screen. He's been a rebounding machine for a slow white guy! He's the difference in this current Duke team.
Injuries hurt his development the first 3 years, but I never thought he would have improved this much during the season.
If Duke wins Monday night, the difference in Zoubeck's game is a huge part of this run.

I'd say that and Nolan Smith's dramatic improvement are the most important reasons behind dook's success. Zoubeck has become an absolute monster on the offensive boards and is passing well out of the post to open shooters.
It's very telling that they could get get past two consecutive terrible offensive performances by Singler (before WVU) and still win against solid opponents. I would have bet the farm that that couldn't happen.
Duke isn't athletic enough, doesn't have enough depth at guard and K can't coach big men
Zobek became great at catching the ball and then throwing it to somewho who could shoot it. He really turned out to be an awesome player. Put him on the same NBA team as Reddick and I am sure they will win some championships.
