butler's only won 24 or so in a row.
surprised this one got snuck onto the Maryland Board
as often is the case this FF will be about matchups of very different styles.
Duke continues to outrebound the hell out of opponents and makes shots. their rebounding is severely misunderestimated and they rotate four solid 4/5's.
WV is an athletic and defensive nightmare but Duke just beat a plain nasty athletic and defensive team. WV made an uncharacteristic number of three's and got way more layups than any of the three remaining will give up. I'll be surpised if they cause insurmountable problems for Duke's O.
Butler is an offensive execution genius of a team, but MSU is the perfect antithesis. Syracuse's zone was a sitting duck for a team that can execute like Butler but MSU's fudnamental style won't be anywhere near as easy to beat. This should be a great game. Boxer vs. boxer.
I think Lucious may be better than Lucas at the point for MSU. They're playing great and have the whole package. Still I think Duke can outrebound them, even though that is typically a MSU strongpoint, but it will come down to whether Duke hits the outside shots they have all year. Four of four three's in a row in the last few minutes last night.

Just be happy you could see all the games up to that. Here in Milwaukee, the Baylor/Duke game was the first "live" game I saw. Damn regional coverage. I didn't even get Purdue/Duke because of Ohio State.

But the rest of your post makes me wonder what's been in your tea for today.
You know I felt dirty rooting for WVU and Huggy Bear this past weekend. But Cal and Kentucky has done much worst then what Huggy Bear has done in the past. Calapli is just sleezy and so its his program. So I had to pick my poison and I decided to root for Huggy bear the lesser of the two evils playing agianst each other.

I know in Ohio, anybody not OSU pretty much is. That's why I was marvelling at their reach up your way. Obviously they're in with the media/tv networks like Carolina is down here.
