Congrats to a mid major team. Their coach looks like he is about 16 years old. But living in Indiana I about sick of hearing about them. Great story and all and if you are Butler Alum from Indiana. But after saying that its still a great story and congrats to the team what a great bunch of men and local players from around here..
I'd take him over Sidney Lowe in a heartbeat.
^ I'm not really a believer in Sid either, but I think ya'll need to give him next season with the incoming talent to completely pass judgment.
It won't surprise me if Butler coach Brad Stevens will get a call for a major college. I think he will be good at a major level. He is young coach at the age of 34 and a talented young coach. Plus I think he will run a clean basketball program if he does get a call from a Major college coaching offer.
DR if you've been living in Indiana for longer tha 4 months you're well aware of how the state thinks of basketball. To say you're "sick of" hearing about Butler is blasphemous! Hoosiers will "lynch" you for that. Big Grin

Me, I'm just lovin' this all.

Ha, true. I have been living in Indiana all of my life. I think since its an Indy based college that is why I am sick of hearing about them. Since I get all the Indianapolis news and so on. Wink
Then you well know that if, by some remote chance, there's a game between Duke and Butler you'd best relegate that "Duke blue" to your underware. Big Grin

Are you near BDF down there?
With MD out of it, I'd just as soon see the Mountaineers win it all.
Stamp, quit swearing on a public board. Big Grin

I hear Sidney's the best recruit is decommitting.

LOL. I have close relatives who are native West Virginians so there is some validity to my rooting for the 'eers... unless they play MD, of course!

They just survived a come-from-behind bid by KY to advance to the final four. KY couldn't buy a 3 point shot tonight.

Harrow will be better than Cothron, but anytime someone decommits it sucks.
Let's hope Baylor plays as well as Butler.

And I think we're still in the mix for Leslie.

Agreed with Stampy though...I'm pulling for the Mountaineers. I just so happened to be the only one in my tourney pool that picked them to go all the way.
I live very near Indy and I'm NOT at all tired of hearing about Butler. I feel very connected to Butler since they are the home team here and my daughter has taken classes there. Go Bulldogs!

Gee... who knew there was any school in Indiana except Notre Dame? Oh, yeah..... there was that university that the Terps took the National Title from in 2002. Almost forgot about them. Icon12
Hey! Don't forget IUPUI, Stamp. Smile

HUH? Icon12

The first college my oldest son was accepted to attend was Indiana University..... in PA! The First Gulf War got in the way.
Teams/schools in Indiana.

The chair thrower's former team
Larry Bird's former team
The team that use to be a football power
The team that actually accomplished something this year.
Good for Butler.
It's amazing that a team in the same conference as my Alma Mater is in the FF. I mean we went ape you-know-what when UW-Green Bay made it to the Sweet 16 back in the 90s. Now Butler is in the Final Four? Wow! I'm dumbfounded.
What would be really cool is for the ACC contingent to coverge on Nico's mommy and cheer on Butler. Wojo and I could road trip, grab 4 corners on the way and then.... Someone better hide Nico! Smile

(Fergitted the name change BD.)
the only final 4 pick i got right....whodathunk it?
We'll see what happens tonight.
GO DUKE!
