ACC 4-2 in the first round. That's not too bad.
Liked what the Terps did last night to Houston. Great halftime adjustment. Solid, non-scary second half. I needed that.
That Gonzaga/FSU game was never close. Pretty dissapointing. As I noted on the TS, Georgetown put a dent in my bracket. I had them in the FF.
And congrats to GT! I called that "upset." No surprise about the Terps. I have them beating Michigan State, too.
GT was only a 3.5 point dog. So it wasn't as much of an upset as many would think. I looked this moring and saw the GT is only a 5 point dog to Ohio St. That's a good margin. If they can play the defense they played against Ok St. they'll have a chance. It would be another miracle to see 96% from the FT line again.

Damn, I didn't realize that either (Purnell). And that's why I put "upset" in quotes, BAJ. Technically it was one, but few should have been surprised GT won.
The Wake/Kentucky game will be interesting.
KANSAS is gone. I never thought they wouldn't make the Sweet 16. WOW.
If GT can get past Ohio St tomorrow, they may have a real chance to go far.

A virtual carbon copy of our loss to MSU in the Sweet 16 in 2003. The Spartans were ahead by ten points for most of the second half, the Terps made a run to take a two-point lead in the last minute, only to have the Spartans score two baskets in the final :45. Just a gut-wrenching defeat today.
Best tourny I have seen in years.
And Mrs Denver had Cornell making the Sweet 16. She is kicking my ass...........
