When I heard about the so called rape I said "if they did it I hope they hang" or something like that.
Then it became obvious that they didn't do anything but have a testosterone laden party(OH NO! College students have parties??) Then I went on several message boards defending the guys. I was appalled when the book Last Dance for Grace (that the name?) was actually published. I don't see many folks rushing to her side right now and her boyfriend is probably cowering somewhere wondering what he'll be accused of. I just hope her children get a fair shot at life. What a travesty of justice she originated along with the moronic DA.
One other thing. She did an injustice to women who truly have been brutalized. That's makes me ill.

I think most folks waited to see/hear the facts. There was a lot of support from most of us around here IIRC.

rick..... Sports rivalry smack talk is one thing but laughing and wishing ill will on 3 innocent young men is another. When the DNA results exonerated them (in my opinion) I thought it would be over. Yeah...right...sacrificial lambs they were. I'd never wish ill will on anybody but Nifong deserved everything he got and more. He can rot in hell.

Less important, but dang irritating was that bandwagon commentator Nancy Grace on CNN. She called for the Lacrosse Team to hang from the rafters for a long time.
I wonder if Jesse Jackson paid for her tuition at Central, like he said he would while condemning the Lacrosse players.
