That's just about as devastating a home loss as I've seen in a loooooong time! What a freaking way to lose!

It stinks for sure. However, NC State has not (knocking on wood) been blown out of any game this season. This game would have been a double digit loss for the Pack in years past.... IMHO of course.

well that was a little unlucky. we'll see how the ACC games go but State has hung in games against ACC level programs (Auburn, Marquette, AZ, FL) while playing with basically one ACC caliber player. Maybe the addition of two actual ACC level guards will help next year. we'll see. I think the chances are better than 50% that Lowe will sign Leslie. don't know if he'll qualify bit Wall did from the same HS. admittedly Calipari has a better record of, uh, managing that.

As tough as it is to admit right now, there has been visible improvement from where I sit. This team was picked to finish dead last in the ACC, and the way they've been playing, I think they can do better than that.

I'm sick of WTNY, but as Supersport alludes to, if the incoming class is worth even half the hype, we should see a big step forward in 2011.

At least you Pack fans have something to be optimistic about. As a Terp fan, I'm just plain depresssed about the future!

State is a much better team this year than last. Smith can flat out play. With the addition of the class next year, Sid may be able to make some noise.

He needs to back the guard recruits up with some big men because Smith is a senior next year and Horner is a senior this year. I'm skeptical about Cothron but optimistic Lowe may end up signing Leslie, though he may need a year in prep. There are a few big men in this years class but I'm not sure if they're ACC level.

It reminds me of the year Wake won the NIT under under Odom where Georgia beat us on a 45 foot heave at the buzzer and then Oregon beats us 4 games later when the guy threw in a 30 footer one handed off balance at the buzzer.

That was an amazingly lucky shot by FL... I never like seeing slick Donovan pull out a win, too bad it had to be in the RBC.

Well, Stonepack, there's a thread on the UNC board here that includes that play in a YouTube clip. I'm sure you'd like to see it again!! Dudley actually stole the ball at half court and took it down for the dunk. State still got off a decent shot after that but it didn't go. It was a much better shot than the prayer the guy from UF heaved up last night.

I think everyone knows I am a Clempsun fan but part of me was pullin' for the Pack last night...I have family members that are NCSU Alumni so when they are not playin' my Tigers I will pull for the Pack. I was just stunned at that last minute shot. Being a Tiger fan I feel your pain Wolfpack fans...

I couldn't believe my eyes. best I've seen State play under Lowe and maybe Sendek. moved the ball, drove hard, made good decisons, made shots, played good position D & rebounded. and all with one, maybe, ACC player against a team full of McD AA's
