Might be a dangerous team this year. Vasquez and Hayes are scorers and this freshman Jordan Williams is a graceful bull around the basketball. Moseley is a sharpeshooter too.

I'm hoping you're correct. Having watched only three games, I think Williams is still finding his feet but is improving. His performance on the FT line has been bad (and that's being generous) while he's missed easy shots inside. However, he appears to have the goods and will become a premier player IMO.

If MD has a weakness this year, it's probably overall size. They simply don't have any large muscle-bound players able to move opponents at will. They'll face some stiff competition in the ACC. I do hope they improve their outside defense as the three has killed them in past seasons.

I managed to watch them against Villanova last night, and granted it was not a full game and not the beginning, but I saw a lot of potential.

Plus ya got the Jin Soo

After watching Choi(aka Kim)play, I can see why he's the only Korean playing Division 1 hoops!

Whupped the #16 'Noles today
An encouraging game for Terp fans. Vasquez was the leader he needed to be and Hayes was hot from three point land. The young players looked good too and the play of Williams has noticeably improved. He looks more comfortable than in the first games.

This could be a very good year for Maryland.
Say, is this the reverse mojo thread?

I'm a closet Terp fan in truth...have been since the days of Brad Davis, Turkey Tillman and John Lucas.
Murrland has a very respectable level of hate for dook as well.
I found out this morning that a Terrapin friend of mine has left this Earth. We met and hung out at the ACC Tourney for many years in the '90s and '00s. A more fun-loving sort you cannot imagine. the Head Driver of the Infamous War Wagon, with the booming sound system that was a traveling 80's time capsule will be sorely missed. Our group spanned all Fan Allegiances, altho' Heel and Terp fans were the majority.

I know the pain in my heart is only a modicum of what his closest friends and his wife and girls are feeling now.

There's more love (I kid -- I kid) for my Terps here than anywhere else on the interwebs.

Entertaining game tonight. Had me sweating bullets for about the last 10 minutes or so.

The Terps simply made too many mistakes to win against a team as good as WF. Having only one day's rest between games may have been a factor but hopefully the experience will help them improve. I don't think they've completely gelled as a team although they're close. I'm really encouraged by the play of Jordan Williams. He's going to be a star IMO.
I saw a lot in that game to worry the rest of the ACC. To play a road game into overtime and lose by only 2 points after one day's rest is a statement.
